Blaine and Laura Avery joined the Seagrove community in the summer of 2002, when they opened Avery Pottery & Tileworks. During the past five years, the shop and studio have become a must-see stop, offering the pottery shopper a diverse selection of handmade pots, from functional to sculptural, as well as handmade tiles and mosaics.

Blaine and Laura seek to produce functional pieces that transcend mere function, and bring pleasure to those who use them. The couple believes that the rituals of serving and eating food are enhanced through the use of attractive handmade pieces that will bring added pleasure to endless dinner parties, get-togethers, and special events.
